There are amore than 30 Golf Courses along the Costa del Sol, and with almost year round sun, plenty of opportunities to enjoy them.

With 14 Km of Coastline there are many opportunities to enjoy the sea, whether it is sailing or diving.

Residents in Mijas have a very active social life with a fantsatic range of restaurants, wine bars, and night time venues. There are also a wide range of clubs, associations, and other groups to keep you and your family busy.

Shopping

Although Mijas Municipality is not the venue for serious shoppers, there are excellent shopping centres within a few minutes journey, whether in Fuengirola or Marbella. Mijas does have several street markets weekly, however, and a monthly farmers Market.

Hill walking

For the more active, there are many kilometres of hill walking routes for all abilities. The more adventurous may tackle Pico Mijas as 1150m above sea level.
